Towards ecoresponsible delivery in e-commerce: challenges, innovations and solutions for a greener future

The double-digit growth of e-commerce has led to an increase in the number of delivery vehicles on the roads. This has exacerbated the problems of congestion, pollution, road safety and noise. At the same time, consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about the environmental or social impact of what they buy (recycling, organic, local, etc.). Retailers therefore have to make choices, and many of them are starting to offer their customers sustainable delivery: zero-emission, reliable and efficient, carried out by delivery drivers working in good conditions. Coop Carbone has developed a certification scheme to recognize such practices, and in this panel discussion we’ll talk to representatives of retailers and delivery companies about how to take action.
