Jean Nolet is President and CEO of Coop Carbone. He is one of the most experienced experts in Canada in the area of carbon markets and issues related to climate change. He also has a recognized expertise in natural resource economics, environment, agrifood and energy. He works in these fields of activity for over twenty years now and has experienced the world of academic research as well as various departments of the Quebec government before founding ÉcoRessources in 2004. Since then, he has led or participated in the making of more than a hundred Studies in several economic sectors. He has provided leadership on economic impact assessments in many areas and performed cost-benefit analyses of a variety of projects and government policies. He holds a BSc in Economics from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and an MSc in Applied Economics from Laval University.
